Band of Brothers
Hebrews 10: 24-25
24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

One Another
One another is a term your boys hear a lot from me. M-Pact baseball is not a collection of players here for themselves.
We are here to make a difference on each other.
• Build each other up on the field with encouragement
• Helping one of our brothers up while they are down
• One of our brothers makes an error in the field, we have his back on the next play
• One of us leaves his equipment in the dugout, we pick it up anyway
This applies to the players but also to us as parents. We are all going through this journey together. The great thing about M-Pact now, all our younger teams get the opportunity to learn from the older teams. The older teams have navigated this youth sports world and are now going through it at the oldest levels. What a great way to help one another along this process!
When we hold events like the Firework Show or the Christmas Parade, seeing how our parents band together to pull of the events is something special. The more parents dive in, the better the events seem to go.

Green Jerseys
That is the significance of the green jerseys. Another reason M-Pact is spelled wrong is because there is no I in what we do. We are here to one another. As you go along, you will learn that there is much more meaning to M-Pact.
In the military, you will lay down your life for someone else. Without those men, we would not have the freedom to play this great game, to learn from each other, and to talk openly about Jesus.
Jesus laid down his life for each of us. He took on all our sin and he was the pure sacrifice that made us right if we chose to believe in him and follow his example.
The collection of you is greater than the one. It takes all of you working together to succeed. Parents, coaches, and kids. #BandofBrothers
Fall Baseball!!
You have seen plenty of post in GroupMe, emails, and social media post about our Fall baseball program. We wanted to approach the fall differently this year with a train more play less style. We have kicked off already with a few teams and so far, players are loving the abundance of knowledge being shared.
One sentence we used to hear as coaches was, "it's just fall ball". Meaning, why try to hard? The games are not scrutinized like spring or summer. Practice is not a priority with all the other activities going. But what if we spent more time honing our skills in the Fall? Would our players feel more prepared? We are very excited about what we are bringing this fall. Sunday, August 18th, the kids that play on the high school sized fields will be going through a "combine" style event to kick off the fall.
Please follow along in the groups for all the messages about what we are offering this year.
Why a green jersey?
We had no idea what we were starting in 2019! We had been going for a couple of years at the time. We began the fall of 2019 with 3 teams wearing the M-Pact name. Two of the teams were basically new to M-Pact and were playing in the same complex. We thought we would do something unique with an Army green jersey that we all wore. As that season went on, the theme of "Band of Brothers" was born.
Since then, we have used every fall to reinforce the idea of no matter your age, your skill level, or how long you have been here, you are part of something bigger. You have a true band of brothers that have paved the way for you. I challenge our players to leave the jersey better than you found it. Meaning, leave this place better for the next generation. I think it is safe to say, those kids that first put that green jersey on have done just that!

Field Improvements
We always get asked where to fees go. Other than insurance, website, maintenance, we always invest back into the players. We are putting a premium on player development this fall. We have added many training tools to the fields to aid our players this fall of all ages. New dirt in the bullpens, new netting, pitching aids, plyo walls to throw into, workout equipment, practice ball stamp for FOCUS!
Final Thoughts
“Everyone wants to win. But that isn’t a purpose, it’s a goal. Your purpose is something beyond that.”
