What a Year!
2023 was our best year yet. We have been around for 7 years now and this year showed the true power of being in a community of like minded people. We have extreme lows mixed with some first for us here but every step of the way was led by great people who care about one another. Thank you all for everything you do! We can't wait to see what our future holds. Here's a quick video of our year.

Does the size or cost of the gift matter?
It’s the giving time of year. We all spend our money and time trying to get our loved ones the perfect gift. Sometimes it’s a fun process and other times it is exhausting!
Sometimes, the best we give one another isn’t a material item or something that cost any money.
John Wooden was a legendary coach at UCLA from 1948-1975 winning 10 National Championships.
He was known for great leadership.
When he graduated 8th grade his dad handed him a piece of paper with a heading. “7 Suggestions to Follow”.
They were from a small town and owned a little farm, so they didn’t have much money. His dad wanted to give him something meaningful to help him navigate the next step of his life. Here is what was on the list:
• Be true to yourself.
• Help others.
• Make each day your masterpiece.
• Drink deeply from good books, especially the Bible.
• Make friendship a fine art.
• Build a shelter against a rainy day.
• Pray for guidance and count and give thanks for your blessings every day.
1 Peter 4:10
As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace
His Dad could have never dreamed of what his son would take from this small list of seven suggestions and share with the rest of the world. John based his entire coaching and life philosophy on ideas from that small list.
John Wooden spoke and shared his wisdom in all realms of the business, sports, and leadership world until his passing at the age of 99!
Small gift = HUGE impact!
Image Caption: The first "DirtDogBoy" chain was given in 2019. A $20 chain off Amazon became a gift that changed the course of a then 11U team. That name has now become a key to our older teams and shaped the ideas of our new Youth Camp. Small gift = Big Impact.
We know that you can go play baseball or softball anywhere. We even realize there are teams better than us out there too and sure you can go win more trophies. Our goal has been and always will be bigger than those big shiny rings or trophies.
We strive everyday to be better than we were the day before and help our families grow on and off the field. Striving for community and better relationships. Building our young people up to be leaders on and off the field in our local community.
This will be the last newsletter for the year 2023. It has been an amazing year and we are so blessed and thankful for each and every one of you. Thank you for making this the best year yet!
The parting question for today is:
If I do nothing, what will happen? If I act right now, what will happen?
Shawnee Christmas Parade
Our float is ready, we have a big surprise, and the shirts are ready for pickup. This year's parade is shaping up to be a great one! We are spot #52 and staging will begin at 5:30. You can arrive to help put the finishing touches on the float and get candy buckets loaded up. Little guys are going to ride on the float, bigger kids will walk behind the float. We need some adults to walk with us also. This event is huge for our baseball community. Testimony to that is a statement from a rival coach. He said he didn't realize how M-Pact was built until he seen us in the parade last year. Now he suggest all him players to play for M-Pact!

Christmas Gift Ideas!
We are sponsored!
We have been a "Power'd by Warstic" program for 5 years. We love the fact that their products stick out and are different than all the mainstream bats and products. Plus their message is the same as ours, OwntheNow, be in the moment. If you want to get your player some gear, message Jason for the code. They now have the #1 bat in the country! We also picked up a discount code for Stringking Bats. These are highly affordable and getting good reviews. Email mpactbaseballok@gmail.com to get on the team store. We also have a few others: BucWild Arm Care Bands, Blast Motion Sensors, and Valle Training Gloves.
Final Thoughts
"Gratitude can turn a negative into a positive. Find a way to be thankful for your troubles, and they can become your blessings."
